Nate Silver’s Pollster Accuracy Ratings: our Howey-DePauw poll near top
We’re very proud of the 2012 polling we conducted for Howey Politics and DePauw University. We conducted two Indiana Republican primary election polls and accurately predicted that challenger Richard Mourdock would defeat incumbent Senator Richard Lugar by a significant margin and two general election polls, the final of which predicted Mourdock would go on to lose the general election.
Nate Silver of the New York Times blog Five Thirty Eight rated the accuracy of pollsters for 2012, first the most prolific, and then for the 90 pollsters who released at least one final poll the week before the election. Our final Howey-DePauw poll is at the top of the chart in the second category.
